UBS India Careers – KDB+/Q Developer

Job Description:

The KDB team works closely with our key global business sponsors; Cash Quant and Quant Trading teams. Problems vary from high volume, low latency, scalable architecture to user analytics. The system is primarily kdb with some Java components.

Job Responsibilities:

• analyze business requirements, design and implement solutions
• work as part of an onshore scrum development team
• collaborate with other global IT teams
• do level 3 support, assisting the production operations team in the rollout and support-related matters

Job Requirements:

• strong development expertise
• curious and collaborative, comfortable working independently, as well as in a team
• the go-to person for the latest development innovation
• open to learning the technology of the team
• ideally gained in an investment bank or similar financial services sector
• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out!)
• imaginative and creative with emerging technologies
