Just as important, in the digital age we live in, we need to deliver effective social media communications and marketing campaigns and nurture our online community. That’s where you come in.

We need your expertise in order to develop and implement strategies to build communities of our target audiences. You’ll also work with our marketing, press, operational and customer services team and creative/media agencies to execute a variety of campaigns that range from large and integrated through to smaller local initiatives. Delivering campaign messages, strengthening content strategies, planning activity, identifying customer needs and trends and up-skilling colleagues – you’ll do all of this, and more, as you build relationships with a variety of stakeholders and ensure maximum potential is achieved from our social media initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain knowledge of TfL digital services and use this to develop content for social media and blogs
Plan, create, edit and publish content that delights customers and meets customer and business objectives. This will include working outside core hours from time to time.
Create a forward plan for brand enhancing social media and blog content
Represent all digital channels in integrated working groups when required
Develop an in-depth understanding of our digital content strategy, use it to take decisions about what we publish and explain those decisions to stakeholders
Interact with users and gather user generated content which can be used to enhance our brand
Use an in-depth understanding of social platforms to provide expertise to the business and to develop the effectiveness of our feeds and pages
Develop a reliable network of contacts across the business and to source new content and features aligned to key corporate and departmental objectives for publication via social media and blogs
