Job Description:
As an IT Advanced Business Analyst, you will perform business analysis functions using a set of tasks and techniques to successfully act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization and to be able to recommend solutions that enable projects to be successful and goals to be met. In particular, this includes participating in requirements gathering sessions to analyze, define and document business processes, software requirements, data management systems and development of specifications for technology initiatives.
Additionally, as an Advanced Business Analyst you will work as a liaison between IT and business representatives, analyzing business activities and translating them into solutions to purchase, implement, or develop. You will work with development team members by guiding, consulting, and collaborating on the development, testing, deployment, and adoption of solutions. You will also communicate and consult with system user populations concerning system changes and coordinate implementation planning for changes and releases.
Job Responsibilities:
As an IT Senior Business Analyst, you will perform business analysis functions using a set of tasks and techniques to successfully act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to understand the structure, policies and operations of an organization and to be able to recommend solutions that enable projects to be successful and goals to be met. In particular, this includes participating in requirements gathering sessions to analyze, define and document business processes, software requirements, data management systems and development of specifications for technology initiatives.
Additionally, as an IT Advanced Business Analyst, you will work as a liaison between IT and business representatives, analyzing business activities and translating them into solutions to purchase, implement, or develop. You will work with development team members by guiding, consulting, and collaborating on the development, testing, deployment, and adoption of solutions. You will also communicate and consult with system user populations concerning system changes and coordinate implementation planning for changes and releases. The Level 5 Business Analyst mentors and coaches less advanced business analysts including suggesting learning curriculum and training paths.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience performing IT business analysis functions.
Experience must also demonstrate:
Analyzing, defining, and documenting requirements for object oriented applications, relational databases, complex queries, interfaces, extraction processes, reports, and dashboards using multi-system data
Leading the design and testing for multi-faceted and complex application development projects involving multiple stakeholders and IT functions
Business Analysis experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as PeopleSoft Finance, HCM and ELM
