Job Responsibilities:

  • Capture data from fingerprint cards in specialized database applications
  • Search and identify documents belonging to established records and automate the information.
  • Extract data and from reasonable conclusions when information provided is unclear, incomplete or totally missing.
  • Guide and convince local authorities to submit data using the proper reporting methods to assure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of information
  • Perform various duties relating to special projects

Job Requirements:

  • 1 year experience in general office, clerical and administrative support work.
  • Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency
  • As a condition of employment, you will be subject to a pre-employment process to include a polygraph examination, fingerprint based records check, and comprehensive background investigation, including reference check of past and present employers.  The pre-employment process will be waived for current KBI personnel who have previously completed the screening requirements
