The Starbucks experience starts in our Roasting Plants where we have a dedicated team of professional roasters and supporting process teams including planning, warehouse management, packaging, roasting, maintenance, engineering and logistics.

Job Responsibilities:
- Challenge and inspire partners to achieve business results
- Conduct and ensure the completion of performance reviews
- Ensure partner adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements
- Establish and maintain an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program
- Generate and maintain EHS auditing processes
- Identify and communicate key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promote a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results
- Have knowledge of and experience in interpretation of EHS regulations
- Oversee training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and make effective staffing decisions
- Plan and manage business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with the Company’s business goals and objectives
- Prepare, communicate and educate client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization
- Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partners, business and customer results
- Support the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company
Job Requirements:
- Experience of health and safety in an industrial setting (7 years)
- Experience implementing, developing and maintaining safety programs
- Prefer post graduate health and safety qualification
- Strong background of forming relationships with federal and state regulators – demonstrated ability to provide health and safety leadership and coaching to plant team, peers and leadership through change process
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety principles, concepts, theories and practices in a manufacturing environment
- Strong skills in process risk assessment and root cause analysis
- Skilled in influencing of teams to achieve health and safety goals
- Strong knowledge of OHSA, EPA, state and federal health and safety regulation
- Knowledge of structuring emergency response systems
- Experience in managing workers compensation and return to work programs
