Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Human Resources Operations Specialist to join the Talent Acquisition (TA) team within the HR Operations organization to help ensure every new employee’s experience at Sandia is exceptional!

This exempt role is responsible for providing front-line customer service to candidates, hiring managers, administrative assistants, and employees regarding hiring policies and procedures, process hiring transactions, process on-roll student movement, and additional activities related to I9 and HR records entry. This work is performed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and must be done with exceptional customer service and accuracy while meeting strict deadlines. This position guides the work of other team members and reports directly to the HR Operations Talent Acquisition Team Lead. We provide support to all Sandia employees in their moments that matter.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business plus two (2) years of Human Resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DOE L security clearance.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or Business.
  • Experience in Talent Acquisition (or closely related area), job posting, resume screening, and/or any new hire on-boarding activities.
  • Experience in a shared service environment.
  • Ability to team well with others with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a case management system (Oracle Service Cloud or related); PeopleSoft or other related HRIS; moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to protect and keep personally identifiable information (PII) confidential.
  • Active DOE security clearance.
