Job Description:

As an Unemployment Tax Agent within the Department of Labor & Industry Harrisburg headquartered office, you will communicate with a wide range of employers to initiate collection enforcement actions and establish payment plans. You will also conduct financial investigations to recommend further action for the recovery of delinquent reports, contributions, interest, penalty and/or amounts owed. Some cases will provide occasional opportunities for travel, and you will have the flexibility to plan and organize your own work in order to achieve goals.

• Full-time employment
• Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm with a one hour lunch period
• Multiple positions may be filled from this posting
• Occasional travel required – travel expenses will be paid

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements – A bachelor’s degree that includes 18 college level credits in finance and accounting, of which at least 6 college level credits are in accounting;ORan equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 18 college level credits in finance and accounting, of which at least 6 college level credits are in accounting.
