Behind the enormous operational side of Openreach goes a lot of unseen, but hugely vital IT work, that enables us to deliver on our ambitious targets of delivering a full-fibre network to the UK.
In a role in our CTIO team you’ll play a part in designing and delivering our customer experience, including how they experience buying our products and services (as well as the repair journey when needed), and how we get products and services from concept through design, delivery and test to launch.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for scoping technical solutions and leading on delivering these to realise business benefits. Depending on the needs of the business, you may lead on multiple technical deliveries or may also involve in-life support and support and completion of CTIO business processes.
You’ll deal with both internal business and external customers, understanding their requirements and building great relationships as well as working close with BT Technology to ensure successful IT delivery for Openreach.
Ideally, you’ll have some experience across the software engineering lifecycle with a deeper specialism in one or more area. Training will be provided to develop specific domain knowledge and to broaden skills. You’ll also have experience of one of the following disciplines: Project management/Agile, E2E Design, IT Delivery, business analyst, telecom networks or deep insight of a relevant business domain.
