This leader will navigate ambiguity, connect the dots and think strategically – seeing ahead to possibilities and translating strategy to portfolio execution enabled by effective business operations in a distributed workforce environment. In addition, this leader drives transparency and ensure priorities and plans are aligned & consistent with business goals and our organization.


Job Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and coordinate the ramp up and smooth operation of the ACC in partnership with HR, Finance, Procurement, Facilities, Legal, and other partner organizations.
  • Participate in governance meetings and drive actions on the ground vital to ensure alignment with ACC guiding principles outlined in the workforce, site and brand strategy.
  • Partner with HR to build and promote an Employee Value Proposition (EVP) for Nike’s ACC. The EVP should ensure that Nike is positioned as an attractive employer that provides an outstanding employee experience with competitive employee benefits and perks.
  • Work with leaders in World Headquarters (WHQ) to understand demand for the ACC based work and fulfill staffing and supplier resource needs.
  • Partner with industry networks to promote the Nike ACC and understand industry developments/trends, macro-economic, and political risks.
  • Work with HR on banding and compensation structures to drive a competitive posture for Nike in the market aligned to best-in-class packages in the industry.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HR to identify and use the right staffing/recruiting companies that can help source and recruit top quality talent for the ACC.
  • Work with the Nike Workforce Design and Connectivity (WD+C) team on forecasting and space strategy and planning for the center.
  • Establish relationships with key Service Providers to ensure that the mix between sourced capabilities and ACC work is aligned. Drive SOW’s and contracts for ACC work that needs to use external capabilities.
  • Apply Global Capability Center (GCC) ramp up experience and knowledge to ensure that the center is growing at the right pace with foundational capabilities established to run the ACC.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to demonstrate resources to effectively translate business objectives into strategic business plans.
  • Leadership Excellence in regard to team management and organizational evolution, strategic and financial planning and budget and vendor management.
  • Extensive operational management experience in a global, matrixed corporation.
  • Highly skilled in conflict resolution, collaboration, and decision making.
  • Ability to engage with Senior Technology and business leaders on strategy as well as driving clarity and closure to high-profile, high-tension situations.
  • Proven experience with team building skills, with a concentration on employee engagement.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT, business, or a relative field with GCC startup and growth experience as an operations leader.
  • Expert influencing skills and ability to gather alignment to organizational strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Higher in Business or a related field.
