Job Description:
This position is located at the NCSHP Troop A Headquarters in Greenville. This position is responsible for providing administrative, informational and reference support for Districts, Communications Center, Garage and Radio Repair Sections. The position handles large volumes of electronic email correspondence through Microsoft Outlook to be shared with the appropriate groups and individuals. Position must be able to maintain multi-line phone system for large volume of calls, directing calls to the appropriate personnel and departments. Performs traditional office support functions, i.e., mail handling, copier, faxing, scanning, coalition of documents. Maintain employee roster and personal history data for members directly affected in Troop/Section. Maintain equipment/medical information directly affected in Troop/section. Coordinate and arrange with Districts and movers on permitted moves provided by NCDOT Permitting Office. Orders, compiles and distributes designated office supplies, equipment and other materials to District and Troop personnel for operational use. Records, maintains and verifies timekeeping balances, i.e., shift premium compensation, sick and vacation leave balances. Aids in the interpretation and completion of forms and reports. Compiles, posts and records appropriately annual OSHA Forms and ensures they are submitted to the Benefits and Safety Office. Compiles and maintain CCPS-64 Building Inspection Report. Compiles, orders and maintains verification of Annual Service Awards. Maintain, send and retrieve CAD messages as they occur. Print que reports processed daily/monthly/quarterly regarding enforcement activity. Forward complaints and commendations to the appropriate personnel. Manage any new updates for NCSHP policy and procedures manuals and form templates as occur. Capture, compile, create and provide Field Operations, Troop Headquarters with requested statistical data collected for Special Projects, Surveys and Special Emphasis Enforcement Programs that occur at seasonal times per year. Maintain Form 19 on all members as injuries occur. Position serves as public contact in the following capacities:

To qualify for this position, applicants must document on the application that they possess ALL of the following:
Working knowledge composing/proofreading correspondenceand preparing reports.
Working knowledge of data collection, storage and organizing both printed and electronic data.
Working knowledge with Microsoft Office products such as; Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Working knowledge answering the phone and directing call to the appropriate personnel.
Job Requirements:
- xperience with Beacon time-management.
- Working knowledge of NCSHP and AOC CAD, electronic filing experience.
- Minimum of (5) five years of administrative experience with a law enforcement agency.
- Experience with managing permitted vehicle loads/escorts.
- Experience with SAP motor-fuel management.
- Experience with NC Uniform Citation maintenance.High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience;
