The Maintenance Division, Aircraft Maintenance Branch at the Armstrong Flight Research Center is seeking a skilled individual to support research projects entailing the development and implementation of extensive research modifications. These modifications include troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, installation, testing and evaluation of complex research aircraft systems and their interface to the basic research aircraft platform.

Job Requirements:

You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for GS-11, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-10 level assisting with performing the removal and installation of engines, flight control, landing gear, fuel systems, and/or hydraulic systems and sub systems; assisting with performing preventive and corrective maintenance, inspecting and analyzing physical conditions of components to ensure that all equipment is in reliable, operational, and flight worthy condition.
