The Strategic Analysis and Formulation team in the Exploration Mission Planning Office (JSC-XM) is seeking to fill the role of Lunar Architecture Lead. The team works across the programs and projects of the Artemis campaign and the successful candidate will rely upon a broad set of leadership skills, technical expertise, and engineering experience.

Job Requirements:

In addition to the basic education requirement (shown below), you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade, which has equipped you with the particular competencies needed to successfully perform the duties of the position described above. To qualify for GS-15, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level such as; leading a multi-disciplinary team, system engineering and integration; contractor/vendor integration; project and task management which includes production, fabrication, operation, type certification, and/or maintenance of aerospace vehicles or integrally associated equipment; experience in investigating phenomena encountered in aerospace flight, monitoring and analyzing unknown or unfamiliar aerospace vehicles, piloting aerospace vehicles, and developing aviation safety standards and regulations.
