Job Description:
The Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCoE) is seeking a Senior Coach to contribute to the facilitation and continuous improvement of effective and efficient coaching & learning programs to support project management competency improvement. Responsible for the development of the overall coaching & learning strategy to elevate project management mindset and capabilities across the organization.

Job Responsibilities:
- Create a working environment that is aligned with the organization’s desire to be an “employer of choice”, ensuring that people resources possess the required skills, are properly aligned, and are provided with the resources to do the job
- Design, and deliver coaching programs, for both project management technical and soft skills, identified in the strategy including determining instructional methods (e.g. individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences or workshops) and developing facilitation aids and training materials (e.g. handbooks, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials)
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure coaching and learning effectiveness and make recommendations on program design/content based on the results
- Track learning and coaching session attendance for PMCoE run programs
- Responsible for all aspects of project management coaching & learning programs, including both technical and soft skills, based on industry best practices and PMI project management methodologies and as identified in PMCoE’s project management competency strategy
- Provide advice and allocate work to the development team
- Collaborate with staff across MX project management community to continuously assess learning needs and priorities
- Review and approve coaching and learning material developed internally and/or externally, and ensure all coaching initiatives and materials adhere to corporate policies and statutory regulations, including health and safety, employment and equality laws
- Manage relationship with training vendor partners to set clear expectations and performance expectations and measures of success, ensure project plan, timeline and budge are being met right through to implementation
- Create/maintain the PMCoE coaching strategy and plans based on needs analyses and in accordance with Metrolinx Learning & Development strategy
Job Requirements:
- Experience developing coaching and learning strategies and plans for a large organization with multiple stakeholders
- Experience coacing teams and facilitating programs related to project management, considered an asset.
- Project management skills, including work planning, monitoring and evaluation expertise to manage multiple projects with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills to collaborate, design and write creative, high-impact content for training programs
- Project Management experience and PMP will be considered an asset
- Experience with Change management and people change management process, including recommending and developing the right training method or solution appropriate to program or project
- Experience designing, developing and delivering coaching and learning programs
- Completion of a postsecondary degree in Adult Learning, Education, Business Administration, or Computer Science, or a related discipline – or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
- Minimum 6 (six)years of developing and facilitating learning & coaching programs, coaching, people leadership, training adults, and applying adult learning theory.
- Certificate(s) in Adult education, Coaching and Change Management considered an asset
- Knowledge of adult instructional/learning theories and principles, training methodologies and instructional design, especially in project delivery
