Job Responsibilities:

You will be involved from the initial research and discovery stages through to the final UI and visual design, ultimately shipping the product in an agile environment. Throughout this process, you will play a key role in contributing to the overall product goal.

  • User research about customer needs and behaviour to help you develop design directions, and ensure we stay human-centric in our work.
  • Help to organise and facilitate of workshops and collaborative design sessions to bring cross-functional teams together.
  • Customer journey mapping for the journeys of M&S customers.
  • Conceptualise, develop and document innovative information organisation structures, interaction designs, and navigation for digital products.
  • Create stunning interfaces for web and mobile that support customer needs and bring the M&S brand to life.
  • Prototype ideas for user research and communicating with colleagues.
  • Work with and contribute to our design system to ensure coherent and accessible experiences.
