Job Description:

The Talent Research Manager will play a key role in the continued success of the Talent Research & Executive Recruitment function. You’ll be a Recruitment Research specialist with experience gained within Executive Search, Search and Selection or Talent Research. Proven ability to undertake research for recruitment, analyse candidate data and define appropriate candidate identification methodology is essential along with a successful record of building talent pools of qualified and engaged candidates to meet hiring requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain senior executive talent pipelines, ensuring strong relationships are nurtured and candidates are engaged for current and future hiring activities;
  • Keep up to date with emergent and Avant-Garde trends in the application of research techniques and new ways of thinking;
  • Gather current and relevant candidate and competitor data ensuring information is constantly up-to-date to support better informed business decisions;
  • Partner with recruiters to share market /candidate knowledge and ideas to gain insight into recruitment challenges;
  • Partner with Executive business leaders to support executive recruitment campaigns and develop candidate strategies
  • Explore relevant forums and information services to attract high quality candidates driving the use of up-to-the-minute online tools to identify, contact and track top talent;
  • Act as a recognised “go to” person on sourcing techniques in support of junior team members.
  • Identification, qualification and pipeline tracking of desired candidate skills and relevant teams within competitor organisations;
  • Provide candidate and competitor intelligence on a range of topics and illustrate knowledgeable analysis to support recruitment initiatives;

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities;
  • Ability to build relationships with Executive colleagues and support them to build policy complaint recruitment processes
  • A proven record of delivering Executive Research for Recruitment campaigns
  • Ability to build and deliver top quality diverse talent pipelines, to fulfil senior hiring plans across a range of business areas;
  • Strong personal recruitment network and will use this to build talent pipelines and increase the attraction of top quality direct hires;
  • Breadth and depth of market knowledge to contribute to competitor intelligence reporting; maintaining a list of potential target companies for particular role functions; supporting ad hoc initiatives as required such as, for example, compiling compensation trends and providing information on the restructuring of teams;
  • Highly analytical with the ability to work across various business areas and organise large amounts of data into concise and targeted information summaries
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to articulate and hold intelligent conversations with senior stakeholders;
  • Proven track record demonstrating the ability to identify successful individuals who are not visible in the marketplace or actively looking;
