Job Description:

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Community Planning and Development.

Conduct detailed analyses (qualitative and quantitative) of complex functions and work process of technical assistance programs and make recommendations for improvement in the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations.
Apply experience with HUD-administered programs to design, review, and manage technical assistance work plans in coordination with HUD program offices, e.g., Public and Indian Housing, Housing, Fair Housing Equal Opportunity, Community Planning and Development, and Policy Development and Research.
Identify and develop data requirements for use in the management and direction of programs.
Monitor grantees’ performance, including progress against the approved work plan, performance schedules, and budget.

Job Requirements:

The official duty station for this position will be in Washington, District of Columbia. Failure to report to duty at this location may be grounds for a disciplinary action, including removal.

you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
