Job Responsibilities:

• Recommends customer prices
• Reviews customer complaints directly relating to the product, monitor trends, and implements remedial actions (where necessary).
• Establishes and maintains records concerning the process(es) for the product.
• Establishes customer needs from the products, and ensures products meet those needs, are clear and easily understood, and established a means of target market monitoring, to ensure ongoing needs are being met.
• Prepares marketing material and internal instructions
• Coordinates the development of products within Handelsbanken plc and works closely with product owners in the other home markets
• Packages all products in a way that’s easy to understand for both customers and Bank staff, and meets customer requirements and demand.
• Participates in, or undertake surveys to better understand customer feelings towards the product, to ensure anticipated product benefits are being delivered.
• Investigates or participates in product related pre-studies.

Job Requirements:

• Product development / product management experience in retail banking or financial services
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills in both written and spoken English
• Ability to interact proactively and confidently with various ongoing project teams
• An analytical mind-set with attention to detail and a methodical approach, together with a reasonable working knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and reasonable computer skills generally
• Solid understanding of the UK financial services regulatory environment, in particular prevailing payments regulation
• A proactive and pragmatic working style
