Job Description:

Clifford’s Tower is one of York’s premier visitor attractions and welcomes in excess of 180,000 visitors a year. Following a multi-million pound conservation and re-interpretation project, Clifford’s Tower will re-open to the public in November 2021. The investment in the property will transform the visitor experience and provide new opportunities to develop income streams.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Membership Recruiter. You will focus on maximising membership recruitment and lead, coach, mentor and motivate the team to optimise all opportunities. You will maximise income and profit from all membership activities to achieve annual membership budgets and KPI’s. Collaborating with your Site Manager and Site Team you will ensure a consistently warm welcome for all visitors and create an environment and atmosphere where membership conversations lead to the recruitment of new members.

You will be a role model for the site team and lead by example. You will have a passion for creating great service experiences and have a genuine interest in people. By being a good listener, you will be able to tailor membership benefits to each individuals needs and motivations. Finally, you will need to enjoy working in the fresh air in an iconic heritage attraction.
