English Heritage is a creative, innovative and fast-growing charity. The Venue Hire Sales Co-ordinator is a is a role within the commercial team and Historic Properties Department.
In this role, you will play a key role in our central commercial team by ensuring the sale of a wide range of events including weddings, filming location hires and major event hires with third party partners. As a charity, we are focused on ensuring that we have first class efficiencies to enable us to achieve our commercial goals. Venue Hire is a growing area of our business and you will have a great opportunity to develop your career within a successful team.
Reporting directly to the Venue Hire Sales Manager, you will lead on client contact, marketing and selling a variety of events which will be delivered at our sites, operating at all times to the highest standard. You will be ensuring all sales, business targets and KPIs are delivered for each event. In addition, you will also support various Venue Hire project initiatives, collating client feedback and feeding into the overall delivery of the Venue Hire Strategy.
We have two opportunities available, A majority of our events are delivered in the South and West – There is a requirement at times for this role to be present at client pre-event meetings and show rounds, candidates should consider this before applying.
You will be based at either our London, Swindon or regional offices but the department has a flexible approach to working from home. You will be expected as part of your working week to work evenings and weekends as required. This role will include national travel and stays away from home.
We anticipate holding interviews from 1-3 September.
