English Heritage Jobs in Manchester – CURATOR OF COLLECTIONS AND INTERIORS

Job Description:

You will join the Collections Curatorial team based in London and the South, and work alongside experienced curators with a range of subject specialisms. In this exciting role you will be caring for the collections and interiors relating to three of our most iconic properties: Down House, Eltham Palace and Ranger’s House. You will also be working across a broader range of the London properties in the latter part of the contract.

In this role you will use your experience and skills to research, document and display the objects, collections, and interiors at these sites. Working with colleagues, you will help to plan future redevelopment and re-presentation work.

We are looking for an experienced professional curator with a background in historic properties and fine art, with particular competence in collections management and documentation. who can bring creative thinking to the presentation of complex collections and interiors. You will be working across a number of projects concurrently and should be confident in prioritising workloads. You will be expected to work independently, but within an agreed brief, and be prepared to work to agreed deadlines.
