Job Description:

The Product Strategy Team are responsible for defining and executing a collaborative, forward-looking and client-centric product strategy for DWS. This strategy incorporates multiple views from DWS internally and external stipulations. You will be focusing on the wholesale business across asset classes, with an emphasis on Europe, Middle East & Africa.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analysing fund markets and assessing trends/ opportunities in a data-driven way, with internal stakeholder input
• Composing and driving business cases for strategic product initiatives
• Supporting senior management decision making around product strategy topics and organising related meetings
• Contributing to ongoing methodological and technological improvements
• Preparing and holding meetings/ workshops with senior stakeholders to discuss and analyse secular trends and their drivers

Job Requirements:

• Product strategy, coverage or corporate strategy experience with a focus on asset management with institutional business focus – ideally from a strategy house
• Aptitude to successfully translate between coverage, investment platform and product
• An understanding of the product lifecycle in asset management

Qualification & Experience:

• Educated to Bachelor’s degree level or equivalent qualification/ relevant work experience. Degree in Finance, Economics or Chartered Financial Accountant, Masters of business Administration or PhD or similar in a related field is beneficial
