Job Description:

The Equity Capital Markets group focuses on originating equity offerings (initial public offerings and follow-on offerings), equity-linked securities offerings (e.g., bonds that are convertible into an issuer’s equity) and over-the-counter equity derivative transactions (e.g., call spread overlays and structured share repurchase transactions) for corporate clients. The group interacts daily with clients and various parts of the Bank – investment banking, sales and trading, and research.

Job Responsibilities:

• Origination and execution of new equity and equity-linked offerings
• Monitoring global markets and analyzing/interpreting relevant issuance data for our clients
• Preparing industry and product analyses for pitches (including precedent transaction analyses, timing considerations, investor targeting, running analyses to show the financial impact of an equity or equity-linked transaction)
• Execution of live deals (providing timing, structure and valuation advice, pricing materials, preparing internal memos for various approval processes, and performing various tasks for transaction execution)

Job Requirements:

• Highly motivated with the ability to take initiative and function independently, balanced with strong teamwork skills
• Have strong analytical skills with the ability to blend quantitative analysis with effective presentation skills
• Have a desire to work in a client-focused, service-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented, organized, and have the ability to quickly learn the basics of the various transactions
• Have strong written and oral communication skills in order to interact directly with our client base and strong interpersonal skills to maintain a team atmosphere
