Job Description:

The Planning and Analysis team is part of the Finance division and provides financial and related business information to Citi management to allow them to make informed business decisions and set key strategic goals. The ICG P&A workstream lead manages support across ICG businesses & across regions/global & is responsible for liaison between the various global & regional workstreams at the on-shore & analytical centers to define, coordinate, produce, and distribute materials (Outlook, CEO Reviews, CFO Reviews, Quarter end /Earnings), builds P&L forecasts, drivers, storyboarding, produce and distribute consistent analytics, etc.. The role also includes spearheading various transformation initiatives across these multiple businesses & geographies, under one leadership. The lead will manage Global & Regional ICG Expenses FP&A teams at Mumbai.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead the formulation of annual business plans, interim outlooks, mid-year forecast, CCAR submission, etc. Coverage includes analysis of revenues, expenses, balance sheet, deposits, interest rates, etc.
• Work on competitor analysis to better understand the external landscape, identify addressable gaps and incorporate goals into overall strategic plan
• Create and Lead ad-hoc optimization analytics on themes that arise at senior management’s request and/or through proactive research of potential issues across the entire spectrum of business performance
• In partnership with the Sector FP&A and the wider ICG FP&A teams, lead various projects to enhance efficiency of Citi’s financial processes and increase the informative value of the content provided to senior management
• Partner with the ICG Business FP&A heads to drive the global FP&A taxonomy and ensure consistent coverage across each country team in Mumbai
• Ensure smooth transition of activities from various stakeholders within Mumbai Analytical Center
• Develop pipeline of Finance talent through management and coaching of immediate team as well as resources partnered in the markets.
• Articulate the story on the business’ financial performance at month and quarter-end to support Markets Lead Finance Officer, Investor Relations and other constituents in developing the business performance summary
• Engage with the Central Expense Sector team to provide detailed expense analysis to the business to help understand expense drivers and assist in optimizing expense base through productivity tracking
• Manage Balance Sheet and Capital consumption limits for the franchise
