Citibank Careers – CEE bond Trader

Job Description:

Part of a team of traders in the EU responsible for marketmaking CEE Local Currency Government Bonds. The primary responsibility would be to run the CZGB (Czech) books, working closely with a CZK IRS trader based in London, with a secondary role covering HGBs and ROMGBs (Hungary and Romania). The individual would be working closely with other EU-based Bond traders as well as London-based Bond and Derivative traders for CE5 currencies.

Job Requirements:

• Being able to work successfully in a team is critical; while there is individual responsibility for running a book the role requires very close collaboration with other traders around the region, making an open, communicative and team-first attitude essential. A high level of numeracy and analytical capability are fundamental to the trading function. An entrepreneurial attitude with an ability to be proactive, think independently and creatively, and a strong ethic towards doing what is right for the business are also important attributes.
