Job Description:

The Timekeeper is accountable and under the direct supervision of the Office Services Supervisor I.  The responsibilities are to perform a variety of clerical tasks, primarily related to the processing, maintenance, and accurate accounting of tiem for all uniformed and clerical positions.  Data entry and review of CHP 415s and STD 634’s.  Processing and reconciliation of overtime using Excel spreadsheet.  Review and reconciliation of automated attendance screens.  Processes Monthly Overtime and Special Project Reports.  General clerical support and other duties as assigned.  Provides front counter relief, answers telephones, serves as a receptionist, photocopies and sells collision reports.

Job Requirements:

  • The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.
