Job Description:
As a Barclays VP of General Ledger Reconciliations you will be responsible for leading and managing a team 8 in the execution of general ledger reconciliation and substantiation for all US operations owned accounts. In this role you’ll join a collaborative team and will have oppunities to help drive the Reconciliation Operation’s transformation to automation, a project with a lot of visibilty and support from Senior Leadership.

Job Responsibilities:
- Managing day to day operations of the reconciliation admin function, the reconciliation production function, and the production of reconciliations reporting
- Governing and oversight to ensure effective controls in place to support general ledger account reconciliation and substantiation for GL accounts
- You will coordinate across various Director and MD level general ledger account owners and process owners to ensure sufficient visibility to reconciliation operations
- Providing transparency of reconciliation operations performance to executive management and provide focused management information and reporting commentary
- Driving forward and execution of general ledger reconciliation automation and transformation initiatives
