Job Description:

As a Barclays Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle which, for some work items, will call for the gathering of requirements from the traders directly. The Risk, Finance, Treasury IT and position management team provides second-line support for production issues, responding to user queries and resolving infrastructure problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supporting and troubleshooting any queries and issues from the trading desks and Risk Managers
• Working directly with business users in driving requirements
• Helping out with on-boarding risk calculation on strategic analytics engine platform
• Managing stakeholders; Liaising with Business Partners and various IT teams as well as Risk Managers for the purpose of Risk calculations

Job Requirements:

• Hands-on programming experience in C#
• Demonstrable programming experience in .NET
• Good experience using Solace
• Ability to pick up new technologies and business knowledge quickly

Qualification & Experience:

• Experience using Python
