Job Description:
Resolves research and adjustment inquiries within the bank’s practices and procedures. Responsibilities include: investigating daily incoming inquiries and process exceptions; resolves differences; answers requests and inquiries received from various channels; determines accounting entries and makes appropriate disposition; Maintains internal operational controls and ensures that they are observed for all assigned cases. Ensures that all cases are resolved in compliance with industry regulations and bank procedures, integrity levels of the department’s case management system and financial controls. May provide support to other researchers within the department.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Ability and eagerness to learn
- Previous collections or recovery experience
- College degree or commensurate work experience preferred
- Knowledge of deposit, card and/or loan systems
- Proven track record of working independently
- Ability to identify/escalate issues and process opportunities
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks on multiple systems
