Job Description:

Henry J. Austin Health Center, Inc. (HJAHC) is located in Trenton, New Jersey. Established in 1969 as Trenton’s Neighborhood Health Center, HJAHC was incorporated in 1986 as a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) entity. The mission of Henry J. Austin Health Center is to provide quality, community-based, affordable, accessible primary health care services in a culturally sensitive manner with respect and dignity. Increasing access and decreasing barriers to quality care are the mainstays of HJAHC.


Job Responsibilities:

The VISTA will create a survey tool to gather data from managers, directors and supervisors about areas in which interns work, create a HJA orientation process specific to interns, create a Memorandum of Understanding that will be used with local universities and colleges, and create a marketing strategy for recruiting interns.

Job Requirements: 

Education award upon successful completion of service , Living Allowance , Housing , Stipend , Childcare assistance if eligible .

Permits working at another job during off hours , Permits attendance at school during off hours .
