Job Description:

This role reports to the Director – Supply Chain. On an average day, an Executive Manager – Supply Chain will do anything from coaching and training team members, liaising with Senior Management, co-ordinating supply chain functions to maintain high levels of supply chain performance in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing performance within your individual area of responsibility
  • Ensuring KPIs are met
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders and business partners
  • Preparation and implementation of supply chain decisions which develop the sales and profitability of the business, taking into account market, quality and commercial considerations
  • Leading, coaching and developing a team to ensure employees reach their full potential
  • Project management and delivery
  • Ensuring adherence to all legal requirements in the area of responsibility
  • Engaging with stakeholders and other business areas to ensure timely and efficient information flow

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Masters’ Degree in any discipline would be highly regarded (preferably Business, Logistics & Supply Chain Management)
  • Proven success in leadership roles
  • Effective communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical ability
  • Strategic planning and project delivery experience
  • Proficiency in problem solving and “thinking outside the box”
  • Previous experience and strong understanding of logistics/transport industry will be highly regarded
  • Includes superannuation and is dependent on ALDI experience.
